The Health Centre is in the centre of the village, immediately behind The Crown public house and opposite St Mary's Church. All parts of the Health Centre are at ground floor level and are easily accessible by wheelchair and a disabled toilet is available.

WHAT TO DO in an EMERGENCY
In an emergency, at any time of day or night, you should call the Health Centre on 01635 296000
Modern telecommunications ensure you will always get a rapid response to an emergency call at any time of day or night. The exact nature of the response will however vary at different times of day and on different days.
When the Health Centre is Open: During Health Centre opening hours you will be connected to one of our reception staff, who can arrange for you to speak to a Doctor as soon as possible. At very busy times, a call queuing system is sometimes in operation, but this can be bypassed by following the instructions on the recorded message.
When the Health Centre is Closed: Each weekday morning between 8am and 8.30am and on Saturdays between 8am and midday, at which times the Health Centre is closed, one of the Doctors is available for emergencies. All calls at these times are handled by a message recording service, which notifies the Doctor as soon as you leave your message. You will then be called back, usually within five minutes. At all other times when the Health Centre is closed, your call to the Health Centre main telephone number will be transferred automatically to the control room of 'Hantsdoc'.

We can dispense both NHS and private prescriptions. The pharmacist can also give you advice on when and how to take your medicine. When we dispense your prescriptions we keep a record of the medicines dispensed. When you next bring your prescriptions here our records will quickly tell us of any interactions.
Unwanted medicines can be returned to us for safe disposal.
You will find health education leaflets on display in the pharmacy.

Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust (BNHFT) provides acute hospital services to a population of around 300,000 patients in Basingstoke, Tadley, Alton and Bordon as well as surrounding towns and villages in north and mid Hampshire and West Berkshire.

The majority of services are provided from Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, which was built to the north of Basingstoke town in the 1970s; but we also provide outpatient and assessment services from the Alton and Bordon community hospitals.
