North Hants Quilters are a friendly bunch of quilters, sixty five in number, all ages, all levels of experience. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (except August), from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, at the Aldworth Science College in Western Way, Basingstoke.
We offer a mixed and enjoyable schedule of evening meetings, which include speakers, patchwork shops for retail therapy, mini-workshops, information sharing and hands on patchwork evenings.
We also arrange coach trips to shows or quilting shops as well as workshops and sew-ins. We do hope you will be able to join us at a meeting soon and we look forward to meeting you in person.

University of the Third Age

Around the country groups of people organise themselves for the purpose of learning. To quote one of the founders of the movement, Peter Laslett, "Those who teach shall also learn and those who learn shall also teach". The subjects tackled vary with each U3A and the number offered will depend on the size and enthusiasm of the group.
