Kingsclere Film Club We screen films from all genre from black & white to present
day. View our web site for details of our film program and dates/times
of showing or keep an eye out for the notices on the village
notice boards and announcements in the “Kingsclere Tower”.
We also need input from you as to what films you would like us
to show. |
The Tuesday Craft Club We meet every Tuesday evening 7pm to 9pm throughout
the year in the Holding Room |
The Wednesday Craft Club Held every Wednesday morning from 10 'til noon in the Holding
Room. Come along and bring your embroidery, cross stitch, cruel,
goldwork, knitting in fact anything, have several cups of tea/coffee
and a chat. |
Friends of St Mary’s Kingsclere (FOSM) Constituted and registered as a charity in April 2002 FOSM
is an independent Trust, with the objective to preserve and
maintain the fabric of the ancient church and its churchyard.A
varied programme of enjoyable events, barn dances, quizzes,
concerts, talks, plants and gardens, carol singing etc, raises
funds for maintaining the Church fabric. |
Kingsclere Gardening Association We arrange talks by well known people from the horticultural world. We have three shows per year which are open to all comers. Outings to well known gardens and also plant sales within the Village. Full details of all our activities are published in the “Kingsclere Tower” magazine. |
Kingsclere Heritage Association We have monthly talks covering a variety of historical and heritage based subjects from October through till April from suitably qualified and experienced guests. Over the summer months we arrange visits to places of interest, sometimes with private guided tours. We also have an extensive archive of documents and photographs that have been given or loaned to the Association. The archivists are at the Village Club most Monday afternoons, when they would be glad to show you our holdings. Full details of our activities can be found in the “Kingsclere Tower” magazine. |
Kingsclere Photography Club We are a small and friendly group of people who own cameras and enjoy taking photographs. We meet once a month usually in the Village Club, but in summer we try to get out and about with our cameras. We have a well equipped dark room for those who use film which can be booked through our Dark Room Manager (Gareth Martin). We also have equipment for slideshows, both digital & transparency, equipment for mounting photos and a wealth of enthusiasm & experience. |
Kingsclere Players Ever thought about joining
your local amateur dramatics group? Think no longer! We are always looking for producers/directors, backstage crew, set builders, designers, makeup artists and actors (no experience necessary!) So, if
you have some spare time and would like to join our very sociable

Kingsclere Singers We are a mixed voice choir, performing in a variety of musical styles at local venues - at least 4 concerts each year - at least four concerts each year. We do not audition voices but rely on commitment and enthusiasm from our members. We may also sing at weddings and other special events. Our emphasis is on ENJOYMENT |
Kingsclere Whist Club We meet Wednesday evenings at 7.30 pm Friendly semi-partner whist. Cash prizes and a good raffle We urgently need local support. Come along and give us a try. |
Kingsclere Parish Paths Group We meet at the Village Club, George Street, Kingsclere
usually on the last Sunday of the month at 10am. Our aim is to
keep rights of way open to the public. With financial help from
Hampshire County Council we clear vegetation and re-build stiles,
kissing gates and footpath surfaces. |

The Royal British Legion Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month starting
at 8pm. |
St Mary’s Guild We meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month for talks,
fundraising, outings, garden parties etc. We give a warm welcome
to all ladies from 20 years upwards |
The Kingsclere Tuesday
Club Club Hampshire is a charity that
runs clubs for older and disabled people throughout the county.
We currently support 47 clubs, including the Kingsclere Tuesday
Club which has been running for a number of years. |
St Mary’s Church
Bell Ringers 8 bells with 15cwt. Tenor bell dating from 1664. The band
rings for church services, weddings and to celebrate special
occasions both local and national. |
Kingsclere and Ecchinswell
W.I. (KEWI) We usually meet at The Crown Inn,
Kingsclere on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. At our
meetings we have guest speakers, discussion forums and social
events. Great for meeting new people, learning new things and
getting out of the house. We welcome all ladies over the age
of 18 years. |
Headley W.I. We meet at Village Hall, Headley
on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1.30pm. At out meetings
we have guest speakers, discussion forums and social events.
We also organise days out for members and their guests |
Old Time Tea Dance Come and
join us on Wednesday’s at The Fieldgate Centre from 2pm
until 4.00pm. |
Coffee Mornings At
FIELDEN COURT, Swan Street every Tuesday
morning from 10.30 till Noon. |
