Kingsclere Library Kingsclere has a first class small branch library. It has an excellent children's library, a good but small reference section, and an HCC Information Point plus its own computer system on-line to the County systems and the Internet. The access card is valid at any Hampshire library. Tadley has a slightly larger library at Mulfords Hill and the main library is in the Basingstoke Town Centre. This has a very large reference library and a wide range of other resources. Other activities are also organised on a regular basis. Look out for the monthly announcements in the “Tower” magazine. |

Kingsclere Post Office All post office counter business except passports, i.e. postage, girobank, bill payments, personal banking, motor vehicle license, savings bank, pensions and allowances, fishing license, travel insurance, bureau de change, postal orders, mail work including deliveries in the village. Most banks and building societies have arrangements with the Post Office so that you can withdraw cash without incurring a fee. Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am-5.30pm (closed 1pm-2pm for lunch) Saturday - 9am-12.30pm Closed Tuesday afternoons Last post collection in Kingsclere is 4.45pm but a later post collection is available at Basingstoke Sorting Office, Priestley Road at 6.45pm. During these times emergency repairs should be reported by telephone on 0800 195 5515. The system helps you to identify the problem and will provide you with advice along the way. All requests will have to be verified before they are processed. Sentinel is committed to providing an effective, efficient and economic repair service. Utility Companies The main suppliers of utilities in our area are British Gas (gas), Southern Electricity (electric), Southern Water (water) and Thames Water (sewerage). However many residents use alternative companies as their suppliers but the following numbers can still be used in an emergency.
