The Club is open every day from 9am to 9pm from May until September and provides flat lawn green bowling with 8 different league teams. Club, County, Area, National competitions and friendly matches. The Club had a strong social base with a licensed bar.

The game of short mat bowls played in a small, friendly club atmosphere.

Kingsclere Rugby Club

Kingsclere play their rugby in Hants Div 3 They strike a good balance between the social side of rugby and playing towin. Kingsclere have a floodlit pitch, a great sponsor in NBS Sports, who specialise in rugby equipment and a Rhino scrummage machine.
New players are always welcome, training is Wed. evenings at the Fieldgate Centre.

Kingsclere Village Cycling Club

The Village Cycling club was set up in November 2006. It organises various cycle rides, mainly over the weekends. It caters for all levels of competence from novice to experienced, with rides of varying distances to allow for differing fitness levels. The courts are available all day from dawn to dusk. We cater for all ages, and enjoy social, family and match tennis in Basingstoke and Newbury Leagues.
Coaching sessions (6 weeks) are held early in the season, usually May.

Meets every Monday night 7.30 to 8.30 on the outside court at the Fieldgate Centre.

Pentanque Club (Boules) at The Fieldgate Centre

We have been established in Kingsclere now for some 11 years and every summer enjoy playing both friendly games at our home base (the Fieldgate Centre) and as part of the North Downs League when we play against other clubs from as near as Basingstoke and as far as Oxshott and Kirdford.
If you have never tried playing Petanque why don't you come up to the Fieldgate and watch if we are playing a match or join in if we are just having a friendly session. We can be found at the Fieldgate (our piste is outside the Hall) most Wednesdays and Fridays from around 7.30 and would love to see you there.

Kingsclere Walking Group

The Walking Group was formed in April 2005 and has steadily increased its membership to around 60 walkers from Kingsclere and surrounding areas. We endeavour to have at least 2 walks each month – usually at weekends, with occasional mid-week walks and during the summer months short evening walks.
Since its formation we have also had several social events, including a weekend in the Brecon Beacons, outings to concerts, BBQs and a car treasure hunt.
