Travel Tokens and Passes
Travel tokens or passes are available at venues within the Village in January each year - details are posted in the Kingsclere Tower and the Post Office. They can also be collected from the offices of Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, London Road, Basingstoke
Details of rail and travel services are contained in the Basingstoke Connections timetable available in libraries and information offices.

Buses (32/32A & 99P)
There is an hourly service (32/32a), Monday to Saturday, between Basingstoke and Newbury calling at Kingsclere. All services travel via Tesco’s in Newbury and via the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke, with the exception of the first bus each day in both directions.
Service 99p runs hourly from 10am - 2pm from Kingsclere to Thatcham via Newbury

Trains
Although Kingsclere has no rail connection, it is well served by services at both Basingstoke and Newbury. Both towns have regular services to London and the West. Basingtoke also has links with services from the South Coast to the Midlands and beyond.

Parking can be a problem at both at Newbury and Basingstoke. Why not try catching your train from Aldermaston (instead of Newbury) and Overton (instead of Basingstoke), parking is free and both are only a short drive from Kingsclere. Check times with train enquiries - telephone 0845 748 4950

Airports

London Heathrow can be reached by coach from Basingstoke Bus Station and by rail from Newbury, changing at Reading Station to the Railair connecting coach service which runs every 20 minutes

London Gatwick by train from both Basingstoke and Newbury. Basingstoke change at Clapham Junction and Newbury change at Reading for Gatwick Airport.

Southampton Airport is served by its own rail station reached from Basingstoke with up to three trains per hour. The airport terminal is 100 yards from the station entrance.

Bournemouth Airport. Although there is a direct rail service to Bournemouth Travel Interchange from Basingstoke, there is no rail link to the airport. Upon arrival at Bournemouth Travel Interchange station bus number A1 connects with the airport or take a taxi, the airport is 6 miles away, book a taxi on www.556677.com

Stanstead Airport. By road via the M25 and M11. By rail to Waterloo or Paddington then underground to Liverpool Street, then by direct rail service to Stanstead every 15 minutes.
